We can design a block signal system that operates just like the prototype. When a block is occupied, the signal automatically sets to red and stops any oncoming trains. When the block is cleared the signal automatically sets to green, and the trains proceed. You can set the controls for the trains to run automatically - a "hands-free" operation!
