Crew - Jay Eidson
I received my first train set when I was 8 years old. It was an HO
layout placed on a piece of plywood. When I was 11 years old, my Dad and I
created a little town complete with scenery, remote switches, a control
panel with 2 cabs, and lighted streets & buildings. The sizes varied, but
each layout was a little more challenging. The seed was planted.
After a hiatus from model railroading during college and
early adult life, I caught the railroading bug again after visiting Illinois to visit my family in 1993. For the last 14 years I have met many renowned model railroaders. Talking with them has inspired me to get busy painting, weathering, and decaling some of my Boston & Maine cars & engines
researching schemes for locomotives, wiring control panels, installing and
ballasting track, creating scenes, building craftsman kits and kit-bashing
models, installing DCC decoders and enjoying all the aspects of model
railroading.
Since meeting Steve six years ago, he and I have worked
on numerous model railroading projects together in many scales. In my opinion, Steve Lamb is the most conscientious model railroading contractor that I have met. He stands by his word and delivers what he promises -- that is all one can
expect when hiring any contractor. I really enjoy working with Steve and so will you!
